The family bed! This was a sketch for the German parenting magazine leben+erziehen, on a feature about intuitive parenting. I made a few sketches and a different one was chosen, I think the one where the mum listens to her instincts and lets her contended children play just a little bit longer (with hand puppets as below) rather than disrupting although it is already bedtime.
When I worked on this I didn't know about family beds and natural parenting etc., so I was even more surprised when I saw this - I got the message back then I think!
