I found some old Sennelier oil pastels which melt like butter and I liked the colour selection that I had picked years ago and started scribbling...it's quite relaxing and it feels easier on my eyes than computer work at the moment. I still haven't decided on what's my favourite traditional medium but maybe there's no need to do just one and throw away the other? I think I did the drawings for my 1st book, Louis+Bobo, mainly in oil pastel with pencil outlines, I like the immediacy of it, it's quick without much fuzzing around.
