Some of my illustrations about learning for better marks re-appeared in this German publication which also features a small blurb of me this time! It says that I said school (i.e. learning) should be fun, which I wanted to express with my illustrations.
Primary school was about 90% no fun as I remember it: I got sent out of math class in 4th grade because I was so bad at it! Now that's great teaching...;o)

Hi Christine! I just wanted to say hello and that I follow your blog and find your artwork so inspiring! Thank you! I too disliked school, maths especially..I had an awful maths teacher! I also believe that learning should be fun!
So that's where you've gotten yourself off to... a moody stretch of sand and forest lost in the North Sea.
I like reading about you in German, since I can only make out a sketchy translation from the memories of my college german class.
