Quite funny how he writes about the Royal Wedding of 1981...bunting and patriotism and street parties and Sainsbury's and the Singh Family, something we couldn't really relate to as German school kids. I wonder if our teachers could. I was told I watched the Royal wedding of 1981 in Chicago as a four year old, I don't remember that particular detail of the holiday though...
