DesertFriends May wallpaper calendar

Well it just turned Friday and since I don't seem to require any sleep now that I'm on iron pills and Sainsbury's Blue Bolt here it is - the DesertFriends desktop calender for May!
Drag it and set it as your desktop wallpaper if you like it and check back next month.

Some of my artwork is available to buy as laptop skins, ipod/iphone skins and on a T-shirt at the Society6 Shop! At the moment it's my Portland, Oregon themed stuff from the Portland show that I got on there but more to follow soon, I'm pretty excited!

The first colour artwork of one of my favourite stories that I keep sketching for. I hope I can colour up some more soon. This one is probably my favourite short story, Raymond Carver - Nobody Said Anything.

I Love Boots - Fabric Design Contest / LBF

My new fabric design is up in the Spoonflower fabric of the week contest, vote for it if you like it by clicking on it until the green frame appears on the Spoonflower contest page.

******************************************************************************
I just attended the London Book Fair, exhausting, but nice to meet and catch up with people, such a difference to my normal routine and it's always great to talk about the stuff that I'm up to day in day out in semi-isolation...:o) Thanks, and hope to see everyone again sometime!

Editorial work + blurb

Some of my illustrations about learning for better marks re-appeared in this German publication which also features a small blurb of me this time! It says that I said school (i.e. learning) should be fun, which I wanted to express with my illustrations.
Primary school was about 90% no fun as I remember it: I got sent out of math class in 4th grade because I was so bad at it! Now that's great teaching...;o)

This fabric design is loosely based on the book GROW which I illustrated, it's part of the Little Green Helpers series by Campbell Books and comes out in May.
