Almost Christmas

Winter landscape at my old home. It was freezing cold and white everywhere for days, with a full moon and frozen lakes, but now it's raining. It's the 4th Advent but there won't be any drawings...pictures instead:








Today I went to see Imke, she has her first solo exhibition at Gallerie Gabriel in Bremen now, see invite below.
There's also a space shuttle in her backyard...:o)

UPDATE: Imke had a cycling accident earlier that day and doesn't normally look like that, but still pretty close.
Also, we had a Starbucks cappucino with soya milk and I always loved the illustrations on it and just found out on the IF blog that there were animated ads, too! All done by Tatsuro Kiuchi.

Oh...

...I don't have an official Xmas card this year, only online versions of little festive illustrations, so here's number 3 for the 3rd Advent which was yesterday but easy to forget if you live in the UK.
I hope everyone will have a great Xmas and a good start into the New Year, I think it's gonna be a good one, the number 2008 sounds very friendly, better than the aggressive number 07, and although it was a good year work wise it wasn't good for accidents, weather and health and stress management...

Simple, but hard to find. This loaf and other German things including Maultaschen and Spaetzle arrived for us today!:o)

Happy 2nd Advent

which was yesterday...
We used to have a wooden angel like that which I really liked and I think I broke one of her wings accidentally. I think all kids did that. I can't believe it's Christmas soon, it's gotten so unspectacular and I don't feel like it yet cause I'm cleaning up my room, throwing things away and getting ready to move, which might or might not happen. I hope it does. I hate to wait for decisions, I want to have everything sorted out as soon as there is something that needs to be sorted...

Erster Advent/1st Advent

Maybe there'll be one each Sunday now til Xmas, just to experiment with my favourite techniques and have a loose project. It will probably be a busy time and I might move house before Xmas as well...
